Care

• Rotate the rug: Every 6 months, rotate the rug 180 degrees. This ensures that foot traffic and sunlight fade the rug evenly over time.
• Use a rug pad: Always use a quality rug pad underneath. It prevents slipping, provides extra cushioning, and most importantly, allows air to circulate under the rug, which protects the latex backing from deteriorating against your hard floors.
• Professional cleaning: Every 1 to 2 years, have the rug professionally cleaned. Ensure the cleaner knows it is a hand-tufted rug, as they will need to use a low-moisture cleaning method to protect the glued backing.
